For every nationality, folklore arts is in their soul which uniquely influences their thinking and creativity, and it must originate within that nationality. Thousands of pilgrims converge to Da Lat annually to formally commemorate the anniversary of the founder of embroidery. Under the topic “Treasuring the golden hand” for 2022, about 500 artisans have converged to XQ Headquarters, Da Lat to celebrate the decorated event. Through formal customary of changing active and passive outfits, then offering ceremony to the ancestral founder of embroidery was held to encourage and nurture existing and future embroidery talents.
The presence of several high ranked officials and distinguished guests from businesses, local and national media has additionally widened the popularity of the decorated event.
Especially, with the sincere hope of strengthening traditional arts and culture, Hong Ky Tea has been humbly invited by Mr QV Vo, founder of XQ Việt Nam, where the ceremony is distinguishably held, to share our wealth and wisdom on Vietnam’s teaism.
Tea has been a beverage that was served during the ceremony to artisans, artist, connoisseurs at XQ Headquarters. Tea is also consumed by most artists through their daily life and work. A fine cup of tea helps invigorate an artist’s mind, which subsequently resonates the creation.
Hong Ky Tea’s participation to the event is marked by performing tea ceremonies which are also held daily at our place. Aiming to reserve the revered Việt Nam’s culture, Ky Tra Cac has offered the God of Embroidery and guests a God’s treasure which has been mistaken left at the mortal world. This fine and natural tea has been harvested from ancient tea trees from few century old tea forests. In traditional white attire, beautiful angles offer tea to guests to pay tribute to the God on this unique and special celebration.
At this event, Master Nguyễn Hữu Hồng Kỳ performed tea ceremonies using the finest ancient tea types from North-Western Việt Nam, which represents the exquisiteness of Việt Nam’s tea. Being a tea avid and knowledgeable reader on teaism in South East Asia and Viet Nam specifically, Master Nguyễn Hữu Hồng Kỳ has shared his experience and vision on how to retain this traditional folklore arts of teaism. The Madter has been given the honour to commence the event’s ceremony with his tea ceremony performing in this prestigious event on embroidery in Viet Nam.
It has been a pleasure accompanying like minded individuals on conservation and retention of teaism and Eastern culture. Through this event, Kỳ Trà Các expresses wishes and wisdom to XQ connoisseurs to continue furthering their artistic embroidery creations in Viet Nam.
